Conference and Workshops This Weekend

Mathematics Workshops
Ms. Ingrid Tjia (P1) and Ms. Lucy Kay (P2) will be attending the Marshall-Cavendish Math workshops this weekend. The workshop which takes place on Saturday, 31 October 2009 focuses on the Fractions module and is hosted by the series author of My Pals Are Here and Shaping Maths. We trust this will be a very productive experience for the teachers involved and that they will be able to implement the methodologies learnt towards their teaching practice.
Leadership Conference (ANPS-BI), Bali
Our Director, Mr. Richard Sidharta has also been invited by the ANPS-BI (Association of National Plus Schools' - Bertaraf Internasional) to be a keynote speaker at this year's Leadership Conference held in Bali this weekend. He will be speaking on the topic of 'Globalising Leadership in Education'.
We wish all three members of the Beacon team a safe and productive weekend.
